Javier Rebollo has an interesting career as short- and documentary-filmmaker and is founder of the production company Lolita Films with Lola Mayo y Damián París. [-]

Jonás Trueba was at Festibérico during the projection of LOS ILUSOS and chatted about his movie with the audience. The young filmmaker has already a fruitful career as screenwriter, film director, stage director, journalist and writer. LOS ILUSOS is his second feature film and was originated from the ideas in his novel Las Ilusiones (Periférica editorial). [-]

If the main actress of O FRÁGIL SOM DO MEU MOTOR had to choose a superhero role, she would play Catwoman. In this movie she is the nurse who dances tango. This Wednesday she will be in Festibérico to explain how this particular version of the tango is performed. [-]

After receiving the Best Adapted Screenplay 2014 Goya Award, Mariano Barroso visited Delft to present his film TODAS LAS MUJERES. Director, scriptwriter and committed producer, Mariano Barroso has had both a brilliant career as filmmaker, with his work being awarded in numerous occasions, and also a long academic career from which can be highlighted, amongst other, his role as Head of the Directing Cathedra at the School of Film in Cuba. For Festibérico YAKARI bring an acoustic version of their sound: "pop-rock" dissolved in a strong funk, soul, jazz and reggae influences. Most of the songs have portuguese lyrics, though they play some english-sung originals. Watch them in the foyer of Lumencafé on the last day of the festival. [-]

Marcos Cabotá came back to Festibérico in order to present 24 HORAS CON LUCÍA. This filmmaker from Mallorca, renowned for the successful comedy AMIGOS..., is busy at the moment preparing his second feature, but (fortunately) , he has enough time to show in Delft his last short. [-]
